My Remembrance Tattoo

My wife Jamie and I lost a baby back in 2016. He was born at 21 weeks, so just a couple weeks shy of a chance at life. It was, by far, the hardest day of my life. Jamie was under anesthesia because it was an emergency c-section so I was left all alone with him. Both of our families were a thousand miles away. I held him in my arms and told him it was nice to meet him and I wished he could be here longer, but God had bigger plans for him. This tattoo is quite special because it’s his actual handprint.
