We all know that social media has its pros and cons. When you’re a celebrity, those pros and cons are dialed up to 100. Hence why Kelsea Ballerini recently turned off her social media comments.

According to Taste of Country, she’s “super sensitive. And I think that’s a good thing. For a long time, I was reading all the comments, and I would obviously love the good ones, but I would find the bad ones and they would just hurt my feelings.”

It was either not share anything or share and not care what other people had to say about anything. So off went the comments. And I think she made a good decision. It’s so easy to get caught up in the negative and turning off the comments doesn’t hurt anyone, so I say good for her.

The move goes along with Kelsea’s word of the year: healthy. She’s actively taking steps for her mental, physical and emotional health and this is the latest one.
