Hey Detroit, it’s Kevin Kennedy! You can hear me weekday afternoons from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. on New Country 93.1. Even though I am what they call the afternoon “host“, this is really your show. Every single day, my goal is to make sure you’re having as much fun as I am!
I have always wanted to be on the radio. When I was 8 years old, I would make a fake radio station in my basement and record myself as if I was on the air. I had an internship at a Philadelphia radio station in high school, got my first on-air opportunity soon after…moved around to a few different cities for radio gigs, and here we are. I have found my home in Michigan, and am loving it!!
Aside from being on the air, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I also don’t mind using 20% off Bed Bath and Beyond coupons, spending Kohl’s Cash, and walking around Ikea in Canton pretending to know what I’m looking for.
