Bru hails from Ida, Michigan, where he was the middle of three children. After high school, Bru chased his passion for broadcasting by attending the Specs Howard School of Media Arts. Now several years in on his career, Bru is thrilled to find himself on-air in Detroit and considers his broadcasting career to be one of his best and favorite accomplishments.
Outside of the station, Bru is an avid fitness enthusiast. He plays on a softball beer league throughout the summer, while also mixing in kayaking, swimming, hiking, and camping. He also enjoys replacing the calories he burns off! At home, you can find him (attempting) to cook, while also brewing his own beer! When the cooking doesn’t work out, he LOVES pizza and can easily eat an alarming amount of Chinese food.
Fun facts … Bru can juggle, and play the ukulele!
Once all of the above has totally worn him out, Bru likes binge watching Netflix while chilling on the couch with his two dogs, Oscar and Chewy.
